The AUH OCYM unit of St. George Orthodox Cathedral Abu Dhabi- Brahmawar Diocese played host to the 4th edition

of the Marthoman Trophy Cricket Tournament being held in Sh. Zayed Sports City Stadium. Marthoman Trophy Cricket Tournament took its shape in 2008 with broad vision to open door for our youngsters from ground to church. This has proven well with our youngsters over the years to develop a good team spirit and to actively participate in all church related activities.
This year the first set of League matches were played between the 7 participating teams in 4 different matches on 6th November. The winners of the league matches met in the semi final matches – Georgian Mount Abu Dhabi Vs Gregorian Jebel Ali and Georgian Valley Abu Dhabi Vs MGOCSM Dubai were played on 11th November, subsequently Gregorian Jebel Ali won the first semifinal match with 6 runs and Georgian Valley Abu Dhabi won the second semifinal match with 33 runs. In the final which was played on 03rd Feb, Gregorian Jebel Ali won the trophy for the first time.
